Several decades ago, we began the process of evolution from traditional rope manufacturer to developing high-tech, specialist, synthetic ropes for the offshore oil and gas industry. During those early pioneering days, Bexco were amongst the first to introduce high-tenacity polyester mooring lines for the deep-water market and have since forged a reputation as deep-water specialists along with trusted, lasting relationships with some of the industry's top companies.

In recent years, Bexco has succeeded in dramatically increasing the efficiency and the consistency in rope breaking strength thanks to smart in-house developed techniques to shape the rope eye end termination.

With our state-of-the-art testing facilities, we accurately assess the stiffness of our standard subrope and evaluate its behaviour and performance for your specific installation procedures.

Supporting you all the way

Our quayside facility in Antwerp has been purpose-built to produce DeepRope® with a larger capacity for rope sizes and lengths to suit your requirements. Thanks to its waterside location, reels can be loaded onto barges and transported directly to the Port of Antwerp giving us fast access to sea transport and reducing the time and cost of delivery. In addition, Bekaert have built a third factory in Belgium (Verrebroek) conveniently located only 3.5km from a deep-water quay ensuring additional capacity and fast port access for your convenience.

Our highly-qualified experts offer full support during offshore installation, which includes repair services. In the case of MODU DeepRope® projects, full onshore inspection and repair services are also carried out by our rope engineers.

To keep up with the highest product standards in the market, Bexco is an Approved DNV-GL Manufacturer according the latest DNV-GL OS E303 standard and holds various product type approvals from ABS and BV for its offshore product range.
