Offshore / Floating  Cranes

Bridon® ropes for floating cranes provide high strength for complex lifts.

Floating cranes are heavy-lift vessels designed for handling loads within ports, offshore, and shipyards. Floating cranes range from simple sheerleg arrangements to luffing cranes. Our main hoist ropes are used on some of the world’s largest floating cranes and offer anti-rotational properties. Offshore pedestal-mounted cranes are used in drilling operations for pipe transfer, unloading of supply vessels, deck handling, and transfer of essential services. In addition, knuckle boom pedestal-mounted cranes offer subsea utilization. Bridon® ropes for offshore cranes offer excellent corrosion resistance and remain in service for several years.
