Shaft sinking ropes

Bridon® shaft sinking ropes offer compaction and increased breaking loads. Shaft sinking is the initial start-up stage of any deep shaft mine. It utilises a working platform called a stage, typically suspended and driven by two to four ropes. These ropes are connected to drum winders on the surface. A kibble rope is the hoisting rope, where people, material, and shaft bottom material is hoisted.
