Bridon® friction winder ropes provide improved flexibility and superior performance. With the right lubrication, almost all rope constructions can be used as friction hoisting ropes. This includes six strand round strand ropes, six strand triangular strand ropes with a natural or synthetic fibre core (FC), rotation resistant ropes, and full locked coil ropes.

Friction winder ropes are always used in sets of two, four, and six. They are either tower mounted or ground mounted Koepe / friction winders. Ropes must be lubricated to ensure a safe working environment.
